There is a carving in the rocks at low tide on the coast of Maine on Mount Desert Island near Tremont, Maine on what we call Seawall. The carving in the rock is the initials " C.H.H. and the date 1895-1900" - it is a mystery here and no one knows who this is for, a rumour says it was for a child that died in the sea, also folks say they see a ghost of a little girl. Thought that perhaps someone might have an ancestor that matches the initials and dates perhaps - seems so sad we do not know who the marker was intended for.
