I am looking for information on the wife of the Rev. Arthur Drinkwater (b 1789 Yarmouth - died 1874 Ellsworth). The Rev. was a very notable figure in the Baptist Church movement, serving as pastor in various churches in Kennebec and Somerset Counties. As well as being affiliated with what later became Colby College.

His wife is much more difficult to trace. Any help regarding her lineage would be greatly appreciated. I have already searched high and low and cannot locate my answer there. I'm thinking the answer is going to lie in some obscure publication tucked away in a library somewhere.

She is mentioned as Anne T. Drinkwater in "Skowhegan on the Kennebec" page 911, as the author of the book "The Memoir of Mrs. Deborah H. Cushing Porter". This book also states "Mrs. Drinkwater is the wife of Rev. Arthur Drinkwater, Pastor of the Baptist Church of Bloomfield 1836-1842."
