I need help finding more information about the parents of Walter Morrell; born February 9, 1846 in Sumner, Maine and died on August 4, 1931 in Pender, Thurston, Nebraska.I am hoping this will help me go another generation back to their parents. I have many records about my 2nd great grandfather Walter, but conflicting reports about his father, either John C. or Jason born in Maine. He was born anywhere from 1808-1817. His wife was Elizabeth Fairfield Glidden. 1850 Census Lima, Sheboygan, Wisconsin John C. 33 1817 Maine Elizabeth 22 1828 Maine Walter 4 1846 Maine Lucy 2 1848 Maine Charles 1 1849 Wisconsin 1855 Wisconsin Census Jason Morrell Lima, Sheboygan, Wisconsin 1860 Census Jason or John C is not on the census Elizabeth 31 1829 Maine Walter 14 1846 Maine Lucy W 13 1847 Maine Charles G 11 1849 Maine Edwin 9 1851 Wisconsin Ida 6 1854 Wisconsin Jason 3 1857 Wisconsin Iowa Marriages 1809-1992 Jason Morrell and Elizabeth Glidden were listed as parents for the marriage of Walter Morrell and Lauraetta Rule, my 2nd great grandparents. Any help would be appreciated. Kelly
