I hope I'm not repeating information you may have received already, since your message was posted in June.
1920 census of Plainfield, Union Co., New Jersey, edition #130, page 3A, 444 West Front? St.
Lasch, Arthur, 32, born CT, father b. Germany, mother born Scotland, machinist (factory)
Lasch, Bertha, 33, b. CT, parents b. CT
Lasch, Norman, 6 11/12, b. RI
Lasch, Clayton, 4 ?/12, b. RI
1930 census of Boston, Suffolk Co., MA, district #164, pg. 18A, 1075 Boylston St.
Lasch, Arthur. L., 43, b. CT, father b. Germany, mother b. Scotland, salesman (drug store)
Lasch, Bertha L., b. CT, parents b. CT
Age at first marriage for both is 21.
The children were not listed with them in this census. I looked high and low and couldn't locate either Norman or Clayton in the 1930 census, that's a little odd.
From Rhode Island Births 1636-1930
Norman A. Lasch, born August 17, 1913, father is Arthur, mother is Bertha.
Clayton G. Lasch, born March 1, 1915, parents are same.
From Maine Marriages, 1892-1996
Norman A. Lasch and Verna E. Glover, married Nov. 1, 1958, certificate #6733, no location given
From Connecticut Marriage Index 1959-2001
Clayt. Lasch (age 52) and Mabel D. Wilkes (42) both of Monroe, Fairfield Co., CT. Married May 20, 1967 in Bridgeport, Fairfield Co., CT.
Social Security Death Index
Clayton G. Lasch, b. March 1, 1915, died Aug, 28, 1995. Last residence is St. Petersburg, Pinellas Co., FLA, SS# issued in CT before 1951.
And lastly....these people look like very good candidates for ARTHUR's parents, but you'd have to check for further info on them:
1880 census of Griswold, New London Co., CT, pg. 516A
William Lasch, 26, b. Germany, parents b. Germany, works in cotton mill
Catherine M. Lasch, wife, 23, b. Scotland, parents b. Ireland
Albert F. Lasch, son, 2, b. CT
William Lasch, 11 months, b. CT
Ellen Irving, 33, b. Scotland, parents b. Ireland, works in cotton mill
Hope this will help you.
