I am sure it was Hastings ME I have a copy of my G grand mother and Grandfathers wedding record from Maine and it lists there town as Hastings Me I know it was a logging town I have been told that it was purchesed (The whole town) by a man who ran some sort of lumber camp in Coos county NH and he moved the whole town there so it must have been small I am sure it was. I have an old map that shows the town next to gilead on the oxford coos line but in Maine. thanks lisa
