Mr. Nicholas GREENBERRY, d. 17 Dec. 1697, aged 70, bu. on his "Greenberry Point" farm on the north side of the Severn opposite Annapolis but moved to St. Anne's, in the center of Annapolis. He came in the "Constant Friendship," in 1674, with wf. Anne (ca. 1648 - 1698) & 2 ch. [SKORDAS, "Early Settlers of MD," from land records: GREENBURY, Mr. Nicholas, wf. Ann, son Charles, dau. Katherine, 15:572.]

K/Catherine (ca. 1670 - bef. husband 1704) m1. ca. 1689, Henry RIDGELY (1669 - 1700, bu. St. Anne's, tombstone), had Henry, Nicholas, Ann, Elizabeth, & Rachel; m2. John HOWARD, who d. 1704, had only child Catherine HOWARD, who m. Orlando GRIFFITH.

Charles (ca. 1672 - 1713) m. by 1700, Rachel STIMPSON, who d. 25 Feb. 1769. She m2. 24 Oct. 1715, St. Margaret's, Chas. HAMMOND, who d. 2 S 1772. Chas. GRIFFITH & Rachel had sons Nicholas, b. 5 Jan. 1701, & Nicholas, b. 16 Dec. 1702, bpt. 16 Feb. 1702/3, All Hallows, AA, MD, also recorded at St. Margaret's, Westminster. Sons died 20 Feb. 1701 & 29 Feb. 1702/3.

Anne, (ca. 1675, MD - 23 Jan. 1714/5), m. 1694, AA, MD, John HAMMOND, w.pr. 9 Feb. 1742, AA, MD.

Elizabeth, b. ca. 1677, m. Robert GOLDSBOROUGH, s/o Nicholas.

Orlando GRIFFITH (17 Oct. 1688, St. Anne's, AA, MD - 17 Mar. 1757/8) m. 6 Je. 1717, St. Anne's, AA, MD, Catherine HOWARD (1702 - Feb. 1783). Orlando was s/o Wm. GRIFFITH (ca. 1655 - w. pr. 23 Oct. 1699) & Sarah MACKUBIN/MACCUBBIN (Feb. 1671, AA - 22 Apr. 1716). Sarah MACCUBBIN was dau/o John MACCUBBIN & Elinor CARROLL, who m2. John HOWARD. Elinor's will pr. 4 Aug. 1711, AA, MD, names GRIFFITH grandch. Orlando deposed in 1747, aged 59 [AA 2:259].
