There was a Fred Startt that was a contractor, as he built a house for S.E.W. Friel around 1900. He was also a member of the Queenstown fire department. He also accepted a position as an oyster inspector on the police boat Frolic. Also, ran stables on the corner of Embert and First Avenues in Queenstown.
There was also a William A. Startt. He had property in the Fifth Election District of QAC subject to State and County Taxes in 1878. Assessable State and County "value?" $3312. In 1897, it was thought he built a store on Del Rhodes Ave. between Wall St. and Dudley Rd. in Queenstown.
I'm not related, but had a reference for Queenstown, MD.
