I am assuming that Rebecca had died after he had written his will, he had remarried , and that maybe Lambard / Lombard could have even been the son of Mary .
Mary & Lambert seemed to have came together to hear the hearings after Bartes had produced the Will.
It was made 1782 , but not produced until 1787 . Lambert/ Lambard Boots would have only been 5 at the most , so I can't imagine he went to court unless they meant she was acting in behalf of herself and Lambert as the minor child of Jacob ....
But the actual Will does state that Bartes was the only executor left alive and that Mary was the surviving Widow.... so we know that Rebecca was dead by 1787 and she was alive as late as 1782 when it was written.
What do you make of it ?
