Just to let you know that there may be quite a bit of misunderstanding by a lot of people as they have Johnathan as being born in 1800 -1888 also Patrick being born the same time as if they were twins and then there is several names for wives...I guess I will have to find some census ...I have not had time to do that ...I did have a relative that has done some research since I put this info on here and she says that Johnathan was born in 1800-1888 Bailieborough Cavan Ireland and spent some time in Scotland after the potato famine and that he was actually married to Mary Clay they had children Samuel John McMullen 1821-1897 who is related married Elizabeth Strong ...I know for sure that they are my family...I just am finding it hard to go further back . also Robert 1832, Mary Jane 1838, Martha 1841, Margaret 1843. Do you have any of my other relatives in your tree? are you on ancestry.com? Sorry for all the confusion but I guess I am confused....hope you can help...I have contact with other people this next while that I think might be able to help...so it will be interesting to find out what happens Hope we can get this straightened around...thanks for your reply...Sandy
