Lucy, My g,g,g,grandfather Andrew Cowper McLean was married in 1805 and his oldest daughter was named Catherine, my records say she was born in 1806. He and wife Mary Hall lived in the area of St Johns River of South Georgia. moving later to the area around Augusta, Ga. around 1813. He died in Bulloch Co. Ga. Aug. 1846 at the age of 66. Could there be a connection here ?
