Hi Cathie, My GGreat Grandfather John McLoraine had a different but similar name, could have been McLaren/McLernon. He like your Gt Grandmother came from Ireland around 1850 with his wife Bridget Hasson. Not sure where in Ireland or of sibs.They settled in Chester Co. PA. That caught my eye on your posting. Any of this sound fimlar to your info.
