Hi, I am the descendant of Albert Wesley McKee born in 1866 in Ontario (died 1939), the youngest child of George McKee and Catherine Brock. In addition to those listed before, there was a Nelson F. McKee born in 1862 (died 1924), a son Franklin John McKee born in 1863 (died 1922) and daughter Mary Jane born in 1859 (died in 1873). I believe my father has a letter that your great-great grandfather or his son sent to my great-grandfather Albert Wesley McKee, who had moved to Scranton, PA. I have pictures of some of the McKee brothers and sisters and one of Catherine Brock as well. A Scottish cousin on my father's mother's side suggested that given that George named his first son Alexander, it is likely that was his father's name as they usually followed that custom in Scottish and Scots-Irish families. The first daughter was named after the mother's mother--in this case Elizabeth and the second son after the mother's father (Thomas, in this case Thomas Brock). Thomas Brock and Elizabeth were the parents of Catherine Brock. This leads me to think that it is likely that Alexander and Ellen were the names of George's parents.
Robert McKee and Ann Elliot did have a son George who was born around the same time as our George, but he lived until around 1911 and was found in censuses in Peterborough Ontario at the same time that George was Lambton, so I don't think there is a direct link there. My dad has had his YDNA tested recently and so we are following the links that we can to see if there is any way of reconstructing the history of the family. If you have any pictures or additional information on Alexander's branch of the family, I would be very interested.
