Erin, I am researching the McKee/ King family from Nacogdoches. Some interesting similarities. This is my wife's grandparents--Jessie Eva McKee b. 1888 married to Quincy Franklin King. But Jessie may have had a relative named Mae living in NE TX or Ark--still searching. Also, Jessie Eva's oldest child was named John Homer King probably close to your G'father in age. Still looking but stay in touch.
