Hello again Donna, So you have found some documentation to make you think that Nancy Agess McKee is a daughter of Alexander McKee and Tecumsapah? What have you discovered? That would be great on your part. As far as I can find out there has never been proof found of his wives and children. There is one lineage I have heard of passed down by the Indians themselves and carries on in today's descendants by verbal lineage but it has been a long time since I have read it on the internet. Perhaps that is part of your Nancy Agnes' family. I am not familiar with Rev John Kidwell or his history.

If you had access to very early PA and VA and then Ohio and Canada records you might find the real story of Col Alexander McKee. I have rec'd the book " A Man of Distinction Among Them" by Larry L. Nelson some time ago which is the story of Alexander McKee but haven't read it yet. I haven't found any lead at all to take me in that direction of serious research for my husband's NC and TN ancestors yet. His (my husband's) McKee are said to have been in Lancaster Co PA off and on in the early 1700 era but lived at Cecil Co MD area at the PA MD borders. That would be another decade of serious searching most likely to prove any of that. One would need to use the historical society of each location and local library archives and PA archives and who knows where else for the official documents. Proof is elusive to all of us. Good luck.
The reward is in the journey. Linda McKee
