There was a Robert Newton (R.N.) McGinty born in MS 1808 son of Joseph Jackson McGinty, Grandson of Robert & Deborah Jackson McGinty. I donot know about R.N. McGinty b. 1843 in AR. Robert Newton moved to Van Buren CO. AR about 1838 and was a land owner and tax payer in 1840 and is shown in the 1840 Census in that county. My Gr Grandfather Thomas B. McGinty b. 1844 Conway CO AR was Robert Newton's half brother and both were sons of Joseph J. McGinty. Hope you find a tie in here somewhere.
