I have Daniel and Nancy Jane McElyea as the parents of Elizabeth b. ca. 1840, John b. ca. 1842, James b. ca. 1844, Viola b. ca. 1846, Rowena b. ca.1850, Sarah A. b. ca.1852, Thomas b. ca.1853, Mary b. ca.1857, Rebecca Fleron b. ca.1863, Leehannah P. b. ca.1865, Amanda E. b. ca. 1867, Perry b. ca.1869, Lamyed? b. ca.1875 and Alonzo b. 1876...all born in TN from 1850 Benton Co. Census, 1860 Benton Co.,1870 Humphrey co. Tn census and 1880 Marion Co. Ark. Daniel's father was Humphrey...wife unknown...Humphrey son of John McElyea and Sarah Boone....John son of Patrick Henry McElyea and wife Hannah__________...Patrick Henry was son of Laughlin McElyea and Mary Powers...who was dau. to William and Phyllis Dennison Wright (first husband was Charles Wright...married William after Charles' death).
