I have spent the past 3-4 years checking death certificates of people who might fit into my tree. Some of them are McCombs who died in Alabama. My line of McCombs is from David McCombs (1793 - 1876) & Sarah Sims (1806 - 1896), who settled in Jefferson County, AL after leaving South Carolina. I hate to have all this information from the death certificates that other researchers might like to have, so I thought if I post a list of the McCombs I have looked up, someone might find someone they are looking for. These are only McCombs who died in Alabama...mainly in Jefferson and Cullman Counties.
