Have been looking in BLM for relatives. Found a William Penn McCausland who I believe is a ggg of mine. Nathan McCaslin was my gggrandfather-his father was William and mother was Mary(Southard). William Penn bought a lot land in MI and also WI. WI is where Nathan had gone in 1850's from NY. Would love to hear from anyone who has info on this one. Thank you.
