I am not sure if we have the same person. I hope so. Rose McCarron Jones would have been a 1st cousin to my grandmother, Maryann McCarron Walsh. Our Peter McCarron married Francis Manion, perhaps this was a second marriage. The family of Rose McCarron Jones has/had a website devoted to the entries in her family bible. I believe I found it on a Yahoo search. Sault Ste. Marie is where our McCarron family entered the US around 1860. Some went to the Bad Axe, MI area, and some went to the western end of Michigan's Upper Penninsula. Send me all the information you have- dates, names, cities, and I will see what I can do. Luckily, my 94-year-old father can remember his family history in great detail!
