Dear Jack, David King McAdow was my GGG Grandfather. According to entries in a family Bible, David was born 14 Mar 1809 and died 28 Sep 1870. He married on 25 Dec 1828 Nancy Wright, born 23 Sep 1812. Children were: Samuel Wright (my ancestor): 11 May 1830 - 6 Jan 1863 John Alexander: 25 Jul 1832 - 31 Mar 1857 Joseph Hunter Ewing: 19 Jun 1834 - ? James Smith: 21 Jul 1836 - ? David McLean: 8 Mar 1838 - 25 Jul 1865 Mary (Polly) Hannah: 3 Dec 1840 - ? Betsy Ann: 6 Apr 1843 - ? William Marshall: 23 Jul 1846 - 24 Aug 1846 Nancy Leucretia Isabel: 11 Feb 1850 - 17 Sep 1852 David King McAdow had a sister, Isabelle, who married James Hunter (my GGGG Uncle in the Hunter line).
