ONONDAGA COUNTY APPOINTMENT OF GUARDIANS, 1803-1815, BOOK #3:
To: Thirza Phillips, Manlius, guardian
For: Henry H.W. Mathews son of Henry F.W. Mathews of the town of Sullivan, Madison Co., state of N.Y., and who was 6 yrs of age on the 6th day of Feb last [hence b. 6 Feb. 1808].
Dated: April 21, 1814

"Thurza" Phillips, age 70 (b. abt. 1790 in Connecticut) was living in the household of Lyman H. Phillips (formerly of Manlius, Onondaga Co., NY) in Empire Twp., Fondu Lac Co., WI, in 1860.)

It is unclear who Thirza Phillips was, and how (if) she related to the Mathews family or other people named Phillips in Onondaga Co., NY.
