I'm looking to connect with the descendants of Reuben Matheny [son of Samuel Matheny and Mary Ritter]and Susan Isabella Heslep [daughter of William Heslep and Susan Gringet.] Their children were: Morgan Matheny married Elizabeth Lilly Janetta Matheny married John Henry Martin Mary Susan Matheny married Joseph Augustus Martin William Marshall Matheny married Rebecca Jane Bredon Harriet Matheny married Andrew Floyd Bredon Eliza Arabella Matheny married James Luther McCarty George Alexander Matheny married Mary Elizabeth Thompson In 1860 they were listed in Botetourt County, Virginia. By 1870 they were in Nicholas County, West Va. Reuben died in 1900 and Susan died in 1914. Both are buried Little Union Cemetery Nicholas Co. WV near Calvin, WV. I would like to find data on their descendants and hopefully find pictures of any of them that survive for my son's pictorial family history. He is a descendant of Janetta Matheny and John Henry Martin through the daughter Myrtle Rae Martin who married Russell Alvin Pyatt [spelled Peatt in Nicholas County records.] Any help would be greatly appreciated.
