I am in need of help with my Matheny Line I have been working on it for over 3 years and Im stuck in the same place I started. I cannot find them on any census recs. If anyone can help please email me at jlmundy@comcast.net. Heres what I know. My greatgreatgrandparents names were James William Matheny b.1873 in Tn he married Mary Stokes in KY. His parents were Dave Matheny and Fannie Baker born in Tn. On James death certificate his parents are listed this way. From there I have no idea. I found a marriage rec in TN for W.D. Matheny m. F.E. Baker Dec 24 1872 I believe this is Dave and Fannie (Frances). James Matheny also had a brother they called him Jack and my grandfather thinks his name was John. Please Help. Thank You Lynne Mundy
