I am descended from Thomas Mason 1707-1779 Westmoreland PA, through son Samuel (1739-1803), Samuel (1785-1863), Thomas S. (1818-1852), Mary Worthington Mason Smith (1841-1902), Annie Mason Smith Gardner (d. 1979), etc. Samuel Mason Jr. moved from Warren County Miss. to Fort Bend County Texas where he raised and educated his grandchildren, among them my great-great-grandmother, Mary Wothington Mason Smith.
