Hi Will, Washington Mars/Marrs is listed in the 1870 Michigan Census. He is with a wife, Priscilla, and children: Manson age is 14, b. 1856 Julia age 13 Seward age 11 Geo. W. age 10 Orpheus age 9 Jennette age 6 Orpheus and Jennette are on the following page of the census and you have to change the page number up in the address line. Then in the 1880, Orpheus is easy to locate and is with his father now listed as George! with son George Orpheus Jennette and Rosetta. Obviously, Priscilla has died. Manson is also in Olive, St. Joseph Co., IN likely a few residenses away living with Jacob Ruoh. Regards, Jan Hart
