From the ship manifest for Louise Walther, dated Oct. 24, 1914:

New York, Passenger Lists, 1820-1957
about Louise Walther

Name:

Louise Walther

Birth Date: abt 1877
Birth Location:Germany
Birth Location Other: selneitlinge
Age: 37
Gender: Female
Ethnicity/ Nationality: German
Port of Departure: Rotterdam
Port of Arrival: New York, New York

More information on the actual document states that Louise is widowed, occupation, housewife. Last residence, Halle, Germany, nearest relative, mother, Sophie Laur?, Halle.
Her final destination is Bluffs, Ill., which is in Scott Co.

She was traveling by herself and the name of the relative that she was meeting in Bluffs, Ill. was her cousin Heinrich Meyer.

I would look in Scott Co. for a marriage record if you have not already done so.

If I find anything more I will post it.
