In case it is of interest to anyone, there is a photo of Mr. Thomas Manton posted on deadfred.com: http://www.deadfred.com/surnamePersR_05.php?ID=94077 This portrait of Mr. Thomas Manton appears on page 414 of The Canadian Horticulturist, vol.25, no.10, October, 1902. Please see that reference for more details. He was one time president of the Canadian Horticultural Association and he was from Eglinton. That is all the information I have on this picture. I am not researching this line, just saw the photo and thought I'd post it.
