Batavia (Illinois) Herald, April 1, 1903 Messrs. Wm. Van Nortwick, A.D. Mallory and E.M. Smith, of Batavia, attended the funeral of their relative, Mr. S.H. Mallory, who massed away at his home in Chariton, Iowa, March 26, 1903, aged 68 years. He was one of the leading citizens of that place, a former resident of Batavia and son of Mrs. Jane Mallory, our veteran resident. ------- This newspaper item posted as a courtesy.
