Please disregard the previous posting for Margaret Mackie. Her name, correctly, is Elizabeth Mackie. I am interested in learning the names of Elizabeth's parents and siblings and information about any of her other earlier ancestors. Elizabeth was born about 1834 in Scotland. She married Richard Grant, who was also born in Scotland, and they eventually came to live in Boone County, Iowa. They both died there and are buried together in a small country cemetery. Any information would be very much appreciated.
