Katie - Are you sure about the name Angus as father of Fred? I show Annie P. Hillier married 7 Jan. 1896 @ Canso to William David McDuff, born 19 March 1870 & died 4 Sept 1949. I have William McDuff as the son of Samuel McDuff (1835-1905) who was the son of James McDuff Sr. The McDuff information I have is a bit sketchy, but am willing to discuss what I have with you.
