I have what appears to be conflicting information. I suppose it is possible that there would be two Preston S. Mabee's of about the same age living in Warwick, Orange, NY but what I have lists Preston's father as being John Mabee. Two sources, 1910 census and WWI draft registration card. If this is the same Preston, and I believe it is, then I have his tree going back to an Eden Mabee born in this region in the late 1700's.

I also have the obit for Anna Vander Meulen with the names of her parents.

I do not know what the connection might be to a Clifford Israel Mabee born in England. It was not clear to me if you were stating that Clifford I Mabee was the father of Preston or if Clifford was from another side of your family.

WWI draft card lists name as Preston Stevenson Mabee, born 7 January 1899, father as being John Mabee.

Hope this information is helpful tho I realize it opens up new questions as well which for me is the joy of genealogy.
