I am posting a letter that I e-mailed to Bill Freeman today. I am really confused about this and because I live in West Texas, it is really hard for me to get access to these records. I am hoping someone can help me with this. Hi Bill,
You seem to be the resident expert on the Lyman family on genforum. I am not very far along on some of my research. My mother was a Loomis descended from (1) Joseph married Mary White, (2) Joseph married Sarah Hills. Is this Sarah Hills the daughter of Wm. Hill and Phillis Lyman? I have seen that she is in some literature (Loomis Descendants) and then today on the internet I saw where Sarah married John Ward and then Stephen Davis.
A couple of years ago, I read that the Sarah Joudain (Jordan), daughter of Ignatius Jourdain married William Hills and their daughter, Sarah Hills, married Joseph Loomis. I can't find where I read this. There is just a mention in my notes. I probably read this before I knew to document everything.
Can you clear any of this confusion for me? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
