John LUSK b 18 Jly 1795 NC/Tn, m 30 Oct 1821
Madison co Al Ruth MASON. Issue b. Madison &
Jackson cos Al. To DeSoto co Ms p.1850 census & d. there 16 Feb 1856. A son John Newton LUSK b 1829, left DeSoto co Ms. 1893 &
lived in Hill & Limestone cos. Tx. He d. 1920 limestone co Tx. He and brothers Samuel
Houston (lived in the area that became Tate co Ms & d. there) and Andrew Jackson (moved to Ark) were in Civil War. Searching for Preston/P.H. LUSK whose wife Donnie is buried
next to JN LUSK. Family tradition places him as a brother who served in Civil War. He does not fit into the bible record/census
records. Other brothers, untraced: Joseph b
1822, William Jasper b 1831. There were also 7 girls whose births I have.
