Hello,
Both father (Thomas John Lusk) and son (John Thomas Lusk) were printers and compositors. Thomas John Lusk (father) is also documented at times as John T. Lusk.
Thomas John Lusk (born in Newfoundland) married Elizabeth Roche (born in Ireland) on 27 Apr 1856 in Boston. Her father's name was John Roche.
His father's name was Thomas John Lusk.
The son (of Thomas John Lusk and Elizabeth Roche Lusk) married Mary A. Maloney 17 Feb 1885 in Boston.
Thomas and Elizabeth's daughter Nellie (Ellen Agnes) contracted TB; her concerned parents moved with her to California for the milder climate.
Son John Thomas Lusk remained in the Boston area and continued the printing business there.
In 1889, San Francisco, Nellie married John A. Sauer; sadly, she passed away in 1897 in Marin County, CA due to the TB. Nellie and John had two children: Joseph Francis Sauer and Elizabeth H. Sauer.
Here is the link to my RootsWeb tree, Pechette and Sauer Family Tree. This line is my son-in-law's. (He is Home Person.)
You will see on the tree my research on his Lusk ancestry, with a great deal of accompanying documentation and verification.

My research on these lines is ongoing. What I'm posting tonight is what I have tonight, uplinked from my database to RootsWeb several moments ago.
Feel free to contact me, and I hope the attached helps you with your research.
