Our Lusks went north out of CT into western MA and then across the border into NY. They are thought to be Scottish. The line goes: Stephen, John-CT, William- CT to NY, James- NY, William- NY (Rev.,Presbyterian)to Wisconsin, James W.- Wisconsin & into Minnesota 1885. No evidence of a connection that I can see to the Penn.Lusks. I WOULD LOVE TO KNOW WHERE YOU GOT THE INFORMATION ABOUT STEPHEN. THAT'S MORE THAN I HAVE. In fact we have been uncertain about whether Stephen is the father of our John b. 1702 or 03, d.1788, married Jane Trumball b. 1705.
The website www.angelfire.com/mi2/luskfamily/LuskFamily/luskname.html discusses the possibility that the Lusks were Scotch-Irish. That might be true of our families.
