Mary,
Has the LUSK book been published? I'm interested in the book.

My line, just found, is from William AGEE, born 1814 TN to Ambrose AGEE and Elizabeth LUSK. William married Lenah / Leannah HARVEY, born about 1818 TN -probably Roane Co. William and Leannah's daughter Sarah Catherine AGEE, born about 1842 TN, is my great great grandmother. I think their other child was a son Michael AGEE who lived near them in Lawrence County, ARK where they are found 1860 census. William AGEE died Nov. 1862, leaving widow Leannah nee HARVEY AGEE. (from Lawrence County Loose Probate Records book) Leannah was on the 1870 census next to her daughter Sarah and husband John, but she was shown as Georganna AGEE--right age and birthplace.

Sarah Catherine AGEE married John Henry McLAIN / McCLAIN born 1837 TN (a son of Charles McCLAIN of Weakley Co., TN who migrated to AR before 1850.

Sarah AGEE and John H. McLAIN married 1857 in Lawrence County, AR, and their son William David McLAIN born 1859 Lawrence County, AR is my great grandfather--he married first to Cordelia MOSIER who died 1897, then 1898 he married my great grandmother Clara COOPER, born 1878, Brinkley, Monroe Co., AR.

Sarah Catherine AGEE has two stained glass windows in her memory in the First Christian Church, Newport, Jackson County, AR. They read, "In Memory of Mother, Sarah Catherine" and were placed there by her son William David McLAIN about 1914 when the church was rebuilt of brick after a fire. (church had burned several times in previous years.) Members of the church contributed the stained glass windows. (from Newport newspaper microfilm in the library.)

Thanks for any information re the LUSK book.
