Lunday is an origional name, according to the records I have some of the children of William Allen Lunday(Lundy) went to school and a teacher insisted that they were spelling the Lunday name wrong and that it should be Lundy. Shortly after that William's (Uncle Bill's) b:1-18-1848 decendants used only Lundy on all legal documents. Somewhere along that line is probably where your Lundy/Lunday family exists as he was born and married in alabama and passed away in florida.
