Information about Hiram Stafford Lounsbury, born 11/26 about 1850 in Hamilton, Ontario and died 1934 in Dryden, Ontario. Married Ellen Jane Morse born in July 1, 1854 in Delevan, NY & died in Limerick, Saskatchewan. (I don't have a marriage date). 8 Children, starting with Genesse Viola, born in 1873 in Elmwood Michigan. Others were Frank Wesley, Elva Izara, George Henry, Ida Gladys, Laura Dell, Asa Burwill, and Leander Morse. Five were born in Elmwood, Ida & Laura in Wheatley, Ontario, and Asa in Hilton, Manitoba. Genessee, Frank and George all died in British Columbia in the 1960's. I don't know about the rest. Hiram's father was (purportedly) a Rudolphus Lounsbury, born about 1800 in Pennsylvania. I don't know about his wife or any more information about him. Any help filling in holes would be appreciated. Genesse (I have more than one spelling of her name) was my grandmother.
