For the past few months I have been researching the descendants of Pierre Lombard and Catherine Baptiste. Pierre's son, Francis (or Frank)and his wife Mary Emma Collis died within a month of each other. Their 5 youngest children were separated and raised by other people. I am trying to find out who raised each child and what became of their descendants. I am descended from Frank's oldest son, Joseph Sylvester, who was 16 and out on his own at the time of his parents' deaths. In the process of researching the Lombard's, I have also found information about several other gulf coast families.
