I have found new information that leads me to believe that Russel LIGHT and Blewford LIGHT may be the sons of Sally/Sarah LIGHT who married Philip SHUCK in Washington Co., KY, on 31 Oct 1815.
They migrated from Washington Co., KY, between 1815 and 1820 where they are shown enumerated in the 1820 Harrison Co., IN, census living near Benjamin and Mary Ann "Polly" (GILHAM) RICHARD, who were the parents of Blewford's wife, Catharine (RICHARD) LIGHT, who Blewford married on 1 April 1828 in Harrison Co., IN.
Blewford and Catharine (RICHARD) LIGHT are enumerated living close to Mary RICHARD (Benjamin RICHARD, Mary's husband and Catharine (RICHARD) LIGHT'S father, is dead by 1830), and Philip SHUCK, in 1830 in Harrison Co., IN.
The proximity of the SHUCK'S to the RICHARD'S in 1820 and the SHUCK'S and the RICHARD'S to Blewford LIGHT in 1830 lead me to believe there is a strong family connection.
In addition, "Sarah SHUCK, wife of Philip SHUCK" is buried in the small, private LIGHT family cemetery in Knox Co., IN, along with Russel LIGHT and his family, and Blewford LIGHT and his family. Only members of the LIGHT family are buried in this cemetery.
I welcome any comments regarding these families and will gladly share any information I have.
