My lineage is:
Michael Light b 11 oct 1812 - Tenn, d 23 Dec 1905 - Ark and 1st wife Liza Dykes (sp?) - Tenn but no other info
Nathan Light b 26 Mar 1852 or 3 - Tenn and 1st wife Louiza Isreal b 1854 Tenn, d1913 Fulton Co, Ark (someone in family said Michael's second wife was Louiza's older sister, and had been married before with a family). I have picture/drawing of Nathan and Louiza, and his mustering-out papers. He joined the military at age 12 or 13 and was booted out when they found out his true age. He had red hair and beard, and blue eyes and she was part Cherokee. We've been told Nathan and 3 siblings moved to Tenn after his mother died, when they were small.
Dora Ellen Light, my Grandmother, b 25 Apr 1883 - Viola Ark --- d 7 Dec 1974, Ranson Kan, buried with my Grandfather George Goodwin in Stillwater, Ok. He was born in Salem Ark 6 Sept, 1879.
I would like to exchange info here or by e-mail. I'm stuck on Michael and Liza (Eliza?).
