I'm looking for any information on my great-grandfather, Albert Daniel Light, dob September 1, 1877. Albert's father was Charles H. Light. Albert married Mary "Pearl" Robinson Light (dob April 2, 1880--February 15, 1965) on February 23, 1902. Pearl was born in Taylorsport, KY. She and Albert lived in the New Richmond, Clermont Co., Ohio area (near Cincinnati, OH).
Albert and Pearl had three children: Alma, January 5, 1903; Robert "Homer," January 19, 1905; and John, March 27, 1909.
Albert left Pearl after their children were grown. My grandfather, Homer Light, had already married my grandmother, Helen Henderson Light, at the time Albert left. One day Albert rode in to work in Cincinnati with my grandparents, and told my grandfather that he (Albert) would not be riding back to New Richmond with them.
I was wondering if anyone out there might know where Albert ended up--family "legend" has it that he moved out West somewhere (Colorado or Oregon?) near some Light relatives. Does anyone know anything about Albert Light--places he lived? Date of death? Did he ever have another family?
