I have some Lights in almost the same time and place as yours, but do not (yet) see the connection. I am sure there is one. Am pasting in the earliest two generations I have. All these people were from the Town of Kent or nearby in adjacent towns, in Putnam Co., NY, or in nearby adjacent parts of Dutchess Co., NY. (Recall also that Putnam Co. was formed from southern Dutchess Co. in 1812).
