I am confused by the second sentence of your post. Timothy Light did, indeed, marry Susan Amanda Dykes in 1851 in Crawford, Missouri. They settled in Phelps County near Rolla, Missouri.
In your second sentence you say that Timothy Light's wife was Louisa H. Israel. Are you referring to a second wife? If so, that is not possible. The Timothy Light who married Susan Amanda Dykes enlisted in the Union Army in 1862. He was either injured or became sick and died in an Army hospital in Texas in 1864. His widow applied for, and got, a widow's pension. If you have seen a record of Timothy Light marrying Louisa H. Israel, it is a different Timothy Light.
BTW, Timothy Light is my gg grandfather. I recently visited Susan Amanda Light's grave in Macedonia Cemetery, Phelps Co., MO.
The other tie that you have to Timothy Light and Susan Amanda Dykes is that Susan Amanda is the sister of the Eliza Dykes who married Michael Light. So she is distantly related to you. That is why he is listed in the Dykes family history.
