Hello My great grandmother was Hannah Morrison, daughter of Richard Hudson Morrison and Martha Light The dates I have for Martha are: born May 1st 1834, died May 9 1884. I have a copy of Polly Ann (Morrison) Gaby's death certificate. I am intrigued by the possibility of John light and Marie Morelock. Do you have any sources? Up to this point, the info I have had was that the parents of Martha were Joshua Light and Nancy Cooper.(This comes from another descendant). But I have seen another post which says "her mother is Elizabeth Light, daughter of Nancy Cooper and James Light. It is unclear whether Elizabeth married a Henard or had the child out of wedlock" The family lore also says that Martha was at least half Cherokee.
