I echo your brick wall with the Leonards! Have you run across a John Leonard in Texas in the 1800's. He came from either Georgia or Florida, but family history says that originally they were from Ireland/Scotland. Your message got my attention because we have so many William's in our Leonard heritage. I hope we can help each other! My John was in the Civil War, his mother's name was Sarah. They lived with some Stanleys in Texas after the war.
