I am seeking information on the family of, and ancestors of, John Leonard, who was born ca 1861 in Illinois. He married Luella ? about 1880, in either Illinois or Kansas. John and Luella's children included: 1. Grace Edna Leonard, b. 1889 in Pratt Co. Kansas; married ca 1909 Charles Scandrett Ashley in Kannah Creek, Mesa, CO; died 1983 in Palisades, Mesa, CO. 2. Roscoe Leonard, b. ca 1892. 3. Opal Leonard, b. ca 1895. 4. Chester Leonard, b. ca 1896. 5. Luella Leonard, b. ca 1899. 6. Bula Leonard, b. ca 1901. 7. Ovid Leonard, b. ca 1904. 8.
