Hi Arlene,

you forgot Stéphanie, born 06-dec-1876, chr. 25-dec-1876 in Ste. Anne, Centreville, Mooers Forks (godparents : Julien Lemire and Marie Dumas).

Jean-Baptiste Mire/Lemire and Flavie Plouffe got married in 1874 in Elleburgh (Clinton County, N.H.). Their parents were not mentioned in the act.

Julien Lemire and Marie Dumas got married in 1869 in Mooers Forks (N.Y.). Their parents neither were mentionned in their marriage act.

Since Jean-Baptiste and Julien got married in the same state and in the same 5 years-frame period, and as Julien was the godfather of a daughter of Jean-Baptiste, one could think they were brothers.

In both families, the first child is a godchild of the couple Jean-Baptiste Mire and Olive Gibeau, married on 16-jan-1843 in Saint-Isidore, Laprairie County, in Québec. We believed they are the parents of both Jean-Baptist and Julien.

Jean-Baptiste Mire was a son of Michel Lemire and Félicité Beaudin ; is wife, Olive Gibeau, was a daughter of Alexis Gibeau and Marie-Louise Mailloux.

Best regards,

Michel Lemire
