Thanks for your input, Virginia. The records I've looked at do NOT show that James and Sarah Leigh Hix/Hicks had a son Samuel and I've been unable to find a copy of James Hix/Hicks' Mercer Co. KY will. I'm back to the same old 6 and 7 here I guess.
