I am also looking for Dorais line. Sarah Dore/Dorais/Dauray was my great-grandmother. It is rumored that she was a full-blooded native indian. I am trying to find her background. Her parents were Charles Dore/Dorais and Mary Chaille/Chayer (as per the Ontario census of 1891 they were in Bonfield). Married in 1880 where?? The grandparents were Pierre Dorais and Felicite Amyot/Amiot married in Chateauguay Oct 07,1833. I have found a Marie Amiot married to Pierre Dorais on that date. Could be the same person. Who are the children of this group of people? Sarah eventually married Alfred Frederic Gosselin in Mattawa, Ont Apr 01,1882.
